  1. Lowville Academy and Central School (NY)

    The Lowville Academy and Central School is seeking a Library Media Specialist for Grades 6-12. The Pre-K through 12 school was chartered in 1808 and has approximately 1,500 students. The town of Lowville is located on the Black River near the Tug Hill Plateau, 55 miles north of Utica, twenty-eight miles southeast of Watertown, and about sixty miles from the Canadian border.   2. Lehigh Valley Academy Regional Charter School (PA)

    The Lehigh Valley Academy Regional Charter School is in need of a certified School Librarian (K-12) for a long-term substitute position.     The Lower Dauphin School District is accepting applications for an elementary librarian. Applicants must either have PA Library Science K-12 certification or be currently enrolled in a Library Science Program.   4. Teays Valley Middle Schools (OH)

    The Teays Valley Local School District, in central Ohio (30 minutes south of Columbus) is seeking a middle school librarian for the Teays Valley West and East Middle Schools. The two schools serve a total of 880 students and approximately 95 staff members. A full time aid will support each building, after a re-building project to split the collection. TVMS was an Ohio Middle School to Watch and had an Excellent Rating on ODE's report card. Requires certification and knowledge of desktop publishing, spreadsheets, word processing, multimedia, databases, and Internet applications.   6. Garnet Valley School District (PA)

    The Garnet Valley School District (Glen Mills, PA) has two positions for elementary librarians. The Concord Elementary School has a full-time, permanent opening for a K-2 librarian, while the Bethel Springs Elementary School is seeking a long-term K-5 substitute librarian for the first semester (ideal for a retiree).
