  6. Bucks County Free Library (PA)

    The Bucks County Free Library is seeking an entry-level Youth Services Librarian for their Quakertown branch. Duties include collection management; reference and reader's advisory; outreach and programming; advocacy and public relations. The library is especially looking for candidates "with a working knowledge of child/teen development" and experience "nurturing a love of literacy in children of any age gained while working in a formal setting, and a strong commitment to providing quality customer service." The Youth Services Librarians must also be able to provide computer assistance and instruction in popular software and Internet applications.     McDowell Senior High School is seeking a Library Media Specialist. The library has a "fantastic budget, a beautiful up-to-date collection, a full-time aide, and collaborative relationships with much of the staff." McDowell Senior High School, located outside of Erie, is a junior/senior building with 1,000-1,200 students.
