Requirements for School Library Certification
- Students must already hold a teaching certificate, unless waived (e.g. with a pre-existing arrangement by a state, district or school to obtain teaching credentials)
- Pass 10 core and 1-2 certification courses with a cumulative 3.0 Grade point Average
- Take the Praxis II Subject specialty test, if not already certified in library media
- Satisfy all Dept of Education requirements (e.g. Clearances)
